Brentwood announces receipt of application for a hotel in the streets of Brentwood
BRENTWOOD, CA – The City of Brentwood is pleased to announce that it has received a development application for a new 151 Room La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham.
The proposed hotel is a dual brand hotel of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts which will be located at 2325 Sand Creek Road in the streets of Brentwood, a premier lifestyle and destination mall. The City of Brentwood’s Strategic Economic Development Plan invests city resources in strengthening and expanding the local hospitality industry to meet the needs of tourists, workers and residents. Economic development continues to be a strategic priority area for the City of Brentwood. The proposed hotel will nearly double the number of hotel rooms currently available in the Brentwood market, catering to both business and leisure travellers. In addition to meeting potential employer needs within the Innovation Center @ Brentwood, the area is rapidly becoming a destination for Bay Area families participating in competitive sports tournaments and is home to intimate event centers, wineries and one of the on-farm experiences that bring visitors to Brentwood.

The new hotel will be developed by Jai Bahoi LLC and operated by Aelius Management Group, a California hotel company seeking its first expansion into the San Francisco Bay Area market. The dual-brand hotel will serve a variety of travelers and is expected to include 105 La Quinta guest rooms and suites and 46 Hawthorn suites.
