Latest updates on Harrow’s heroes helping Ukrainian refugees
Follow this page for updates from Ali Fawzi and Paolo Arrigo, the two friends who left Harrow to go to the Ukrainian border to help refugees.
“We are broken. 26 hour drive, finally arrived at our hotel in Lublin. I took a quick look before climbing into bed. Big day tomorrow believe we are closing in on the border, dropping off aid, locating refugees and then bringing them back. If the need is greater we will stay an extra day. We plan to return in the next few weeks.”
“We have finished at the Lublin aid center and are heading towards the Ukrainian border.” said Ali Fawzi, one of the two men on the rescue mission.
“We have met a lot of people from all over the world to do their part, the atmosphere is one of unity and urgency, everyone wants to do what they can to help.
