# Lisa Armstrong ‘submits application for pool and gym’ at her new £3.8m home

Lisa Armstrong will ‘add a fitness studio and swimming pool’ to her sprawling £3.8million home as she digs into her £31million divorce payout from TV presenter Ant McPartlin.

The 45-year-old professional makeup artist has made ambitious plans for the London property she bought after her split from the recently remarried Saturday Night Takeaway star in 2018.

These include a home gym, swimming pool and gazebo to entertain guests, with Lisa having already submitted a planning application to her local authority, The mirror reports.

It is understood she hopes to turn the already sizable property into a love nest for herself and her electrician boyfriend James Green, 37 – Lisa’s first relationship since the collapse of her 12-year marriage.

A source said: “Lisa has indeed moved on and is excitedly planning for the future. She looks amazing and is excited about the direction her life is taking.

“It’s been a really upsetting and obviously tough couple of years – but Lisa has bounced back and is looking firmly to the future.”

The Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist and her former husband won an absolute decree in April 2020, which officially ended their 12-year marriage and 23-year relationship.

It is understood Ant handed over £31million in their settlement, including their £5million west London home, after an ‘eight-hour negotiation’.

A source close to the couple said The sun: ‘Ant has been very generous in terms of financial settlement but Lisa is the complete opposite of someone who is driven by money.

“She doesn’t care about that – she makes a living… But she’s been so hurt by it all.”

Lisa previously showcased her cozy interiors on Instagram in January, which included a green velvet sofa and floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room.

Another snap showed a huge silver mirror in front of a pink velvet table and chairs, while another featured an end table with a plant and her name in lights on the floor.

A few weeks earlier, Lisa showed off a massive Christmas tree with a ball for pet dog Hurley, which she shares with her ex-husband, along with its wall decorations and tinsel-covered banister.

She also showed off an elegant fairy light tree, placed just inside her front door, and showed off more of her decorations in other items, which included pink poinsettias, candy canes and ornaments. in wine glass.

Lisa bought the property late last year and shared how she temporarily lived in a hotel during the renovations.

Speaking on the frank beauty podcast, she said, “I literally just decided to move out and buy a new house, to move out at the busiest time of my life.

“And my friend who is an interior designer helped me with the house and redesigned it. It came in like a bulldozer and now it’s like a building site. Now I’m in a hotel.

“I’m only staying here for a short time. I came to the hotel to be able to breathe a little and find a place to live temporarily.

‘I just have to deal with it. Getting breakfast in the room every morning is a good result. Grilled bacon, fried eggs… live the dream.’

Lisa is believed to have started dating James in early 2020 and went public with their relationship last August, months after his split from wife Kirsty.

Ant was married to his ex-wife Lisa for 12 years. The couple, who had been together for 23 years, confirmed their split in 2018, following Ant’s stay in rehab the previous year where he sought treatment for a painkiller addiction.

After rehab, Ant took a year off from television and he and Lisa went their separate ways, with their divorce finalized in April 2020.
