The Ospreys suspended two players after shocking footage emerged that appeared to show one of them pushing himself against a sleeping homeless man.

The rugby team have confirmed that Matthew Aubrey, 24, and Callum Carson, 22, have been suspended with immediate effect pending further investigation after footage of the players mocking the game emerged online brutal sleeper.

They went on to say that the the behavior shown was “totally unacceptable and not condoned by anyone associated with the Ospreys”.

The clip, which was posted to Matthew Aubrey’s Snapchat account, appears to show Welsh rugby player Callum Carson approaching a homeless man in Cardiff city center before lying down next to them and smiling at the camera.

The clip, which was posted to Matthew Aubrey's Snapchat account, appears to show Callum Carson approaching a sleeper in Cardiff city centre.

He then puts his arm around the unidentified person before thrusting her hips against them.

The person on the floor appears to be sleeping does not appear to be aware of the incident – which took place near the Hilton Cardiff hotel.

A statement from the Ospreys said: “The behavior shown in this video is completely unacceptable and not tolerated by anyone associated with the Ospreys.

“Both individuals have been suspended with immediate effect, pending further investigation.

Mr Aubrey made his Ospreys debut in 2013 and previously played for the club’s academy and Swansea RFC.

And Mr Carson, who made his Wales U20 debut in 2018, also plays for Wales Sevens.
