What will VinFast do as part of its “Planting the future” project?
As part of the initiative, the automaker will plant a tree for every reservation made for its VF8 or VF9 EV between January 5, 2022 and May 30, 2022.
Called the “Planting the Future” project, it aims to increase “forest cover, protect the ecological environment, improve the environmental landscape and reverse the effects of global climate change”.
How will VinFast do all of this?
As part of the initiative, the automaker will plant a tree for every reservation made for its VF8 or VF9 EV between January 5, 2022 and May 30, 2022. Additionally, VinFast will contribute to projects that plant trees and restore forests. in the world.
As of April 2022, the company had received 65,000 reservations for its VF8 and VF9 electric vehicles globally, so at least 65,000 new trees will be planted.
The VinFast “Planting the Future” project will work in phases and is expected to reach different parts of the world. For the first year, it is being implemented in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, in collaboration with the Phu Quoc National Park Management Board and Vingroup member Vinpearl.
In this way, the automaker hopes for the reverse effect of climate change on the national park which spans 29,596 hectares and includes three important ecosystems.

For customers across Europe, Canada, and the United States who reserve a VF 8 or VF 9 by May 30, the company plans to offer an e-voucher, a free VinFast level 1 portable charger, complimentary ADAS and Smart Service packages, a 7 Day Vinpearl Resort Tour (including a three-bedroom beach villa for four people at one or more Vinpearl hotels in Vietnam), and an exclusive VinFirst NFT.
